Emily Bowman is a choreographer, performer, educator, and artist-mother based on Wadawurrung Country, Djilang/Geelong. Drawing on more than fifteen years of contemporary dance, contact improvisation, somatics, and site-responsive practice, she facilitates embodied experiences that invite curiosity, listening, and connection. Her teaching offers clear structures alongside spacious, open-ended exploration, supporting participants to work with sensation, weight, touch, environment, and compositional possibilities. Emily creates inclusive and responsive learning environments that value individual experience, inquiry, and the intelligence of the body. Her workshops welcome diverse bodies and experiences, fostering experimentation, reflection, and meaningful encounters with others, place, and the more-than-human world around us.
