About
Dancer and painter of Polish descent, raised in France. Studied sculpture at the Kraków Academy of Fine Arts (ASP), graduating before an 18-month cycling expedition across Asia, Africa, and South America, after which he chose to pursue movement and dance rather than painting alone. Discovered tango in 2000 and has since worked at the intersection of partner dance, dance theatre, dance improvisation, music, and singing, blending Contact Improvisation with tango, theatre, and massage. Participated in the X Academy at Teatr Gardzienice and numerous other dance and theatre workshops. Founded KONTAKT. Przestrzeń Ruchu i Tańca in Kraków roughly a decade before 2021, converting a family-connected historic building on Szpitalna Street (previously the wardrobe facility of Teatr Słowackiego) that had been slated for hotel redevelopment.
