Daniel Hayes

About

Born in Baltimore in 1977, raised largely in the Netherlands, where he graduated from medical school in Amsterdam in 2005; later completed a PhD in Tropical Medicine and Epidemiology in the UK after living in Ghana, Kenya, and Malawi. Lived for ten years at Can Masdeu, an anarchist collective near Barcelona, before co-founding the Vidalia eco-village with his partner Lina. Introduced to Contact Improvisation in 2000 in Barcelona; founded the Touch&Play Movement in Berlin in 2010 and continues to coordinate its events across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
