Summer Jam 40th Anniversary

About this event

A 10-day gathering at Earthdance Creative Living Community in Plainfield, Massachusetts — the largest Summer Jam in Earthdance's 40-year history. The gathering offers multiple entry points: the full Trunk Jam (Jun 25–Jul 5) or shorter Branch Jams (3–4 day segments). Contact Improvisation is a steady presence throughout, alongside authentic relating, somatic movement, circling, storytelling, crafts, song, and working groups. Hosted by Funda Gul and Anna Maynard, with community facilitators Ming Tsai and Aaron Brandes. Children and families welcome; dedicated children's programming runs alongside the main programme. Earthdance uses a self-selected sliding scale model — no income verification. Equity & Access discounts available for individuals with financial need, prioritising those from marginalised communities. Residential: accommodation and vegetarian meals included on site. 80-acre campus with forest, meadow, and multiple studios.
