About this event

Six-day international Contact Improvisation festival at Solvikskolan, a Waldorf school and Anthroposophic community in Ytterjärna, 50km south of Stockholm, close to the sea. 60 participants. A focused research festival hosting intensives, labs, and focus jams. Gathering international and local teachers and dancers with backgrounds in CI, contemporary dance, improvisation, martial arts, and performance. 2026 intensive teachers: • Susanne Martin (DE) — performance, artistic research, CI for the stage • Andrew Wass (US) — Ensemble Thinking, philosophy, cognitive science and CI • Olivia Court Mesa (CL/IL) — partnering, real-time physical dialogue • Antoine Ragot (FR/DE) — Axis Syllabus, Movement Artisans Berlin • More teachers to be announced The venue offers unique studios, a dreamy campsite, farm food, morning dips, music jams, singing, and saunas. Price is all-inclusive: accommodation, food, sauna, intensives, research labs, and jams. All payments in SEK. Families and kids welcome. Team participation options available for a reduced fee.
