About this event

A Contact Improvisation intensive weekend workshop exploring how attention transforms movement, technique, and connection. Rather than trying to make movement happen, participants learn to recognize the countless forces already shaping the dance: gravity, momentum, weight, space, partner, and self. The workshop combines somatic exploration, mindfulness practices, and Contact Improvisation to cultivate embodied listening, through solo and partner explorations. Participants will explore fundamental Contact Improvisation techniques, including floor work, weight sharing, and basic lifts, as pathways for practicing the art of listening. Open to both newcomers and experienced dancers. Facilitated by Áron Kiss and Natalia Klamann. In total: 12 hours of workshops over the weekend. Workshop will be taught in English with translation available to Polish.
