Float-In CI Festival

About this event

Float~in is a contact improvisation festival held at Momoland Resort in Ružiná, Slovakia — surrounded by green hills, dense forests and the warm lake Ružiná. The festival offers a rich program of morning practices, intensives, labs, water and land jams, evening jams with live music, performance nights, singing circles, tea ceremonies, and free time for swimming, hiking, or visiting nearby castle ruins. The team — Magdaléna Takáčová, Žubra K. Žubretovská, Eva Palkovičová, and Barbora Foxie Kiczk — are four Slovak dancers and organizers dedicated to growing the CI community in Slovakia and connecting it with the international scene. The festival welcomes dancers of all levels, including beginners, and is kids- and dogs-friendly. Venue: 275m² dance studio with soft floor, 200m² heated pool, whirlpool, sauna, hammock garden, tea temple, beach volleyball, and lake access. Accommodation in 13 wooden chalets (2–3 rooms each, shared). Full vegan/vegetarian board by local chef, with meat options available.
