About this event

A 7-day residential intensive at Casina Settarte — an internationally recognised movement and arts centre in rural Puglia, surrounded by olive groves between Ostuni and Cisternino. The programme weaves together three practices: • Feldenkrais Method — using attention and awareness to refine movement and deepen the sense of how we feel, perceive, and create • Contact Improvisation — exploring touch, weight, and the dynamics of shared movement • Ensemble Composition — structures for group improvisation and creative encounter Taught by Simonetta Alessandri and Adalisa Menghini, who have been collaborating in somatic and CI intensive programmes for many years. Their approach treats attention as a gateway not only to more refined movement, but to a deeper connection with present-moment experience and creative discovery. Open to dancers, improvisers, and performers, as well as anyone seeking a deeper connection with themselves and others through movement. Taught in Italian.
