About this event

The 14th annual Dancefulness festival — Ukraine's longest-running Contact Improvisation gathering — takes place at MC6 Creative Residence in Slavske, a well-equipped art residency with studios and outdoor dancing spaces in the Carpathian Mountains, Lviv region. The five-day programme includes 8 classes from Ukrainian and international teachers, 6 jam sessions (morning and evening), labs, and unstructured research time. Teachers include Olek Wójcik (Poland), Lilia Rainivska, Nastya Mavrova, Sveta Pashko, Kate Taranova, Alex Postnikov, and Inna Postnikova. Accommodation ranges from tent camping to rooms in traditional Carpathian houses. Food is a mix of self-organised and pre-ordered meals. Approximately 100 participants. Scholarship support available for Ukrainian dancers.
