Heike Pourian
About
Heike Pourian (she, b. 1967) describes herself as a "change researcher." Contact Improvisation has been the foundation of her work since 1988 — her dance home, and at the same time an inspiration and experimental field for transformative processes. She accompanies people in consciously, collectively perceiving the threshold marked by the current paradigm shift, using trauma-informed and nervous-system-aware communication to prepare the ground for mindful exploration. She authored the books "Eine berührbare Welt: Contact Improvisation als gesellschaftsbewegende Kultur" (2016) and "Wenn wir wieder wahrnehmen" (2021). She is currently focused on building "Wegwarte" in Witzenhausen, a learning and research space for perceptive social design and caring economics.
