About this event

The second edition of Poruszenie — a 7-day residential movement camp in Starzyna, near Policzna, set in the forests of the Masovian Voivodeship. Programme (30 hours of workshops): Contact Improvisation, movement improvisation, and QiGong with Angelika Mizińska and Paweł Konior. Evening dance jams, sauna and swimming pool (17×12 m outdoor), and hiking in the surrounding forest. The workshops explore body dynamics, spatial awareness, and shared movement language — through technical exercises, improvisation scores, partner work, and somatic practice (Body Mind Centering®). Tools include sticks, balls, and rubber bands alongside free dance jams. Setting: Private retreat centre run by hosts Gosia and Andrzej — rooms for 2–4 people, 105 m² oak-floor studio, sauna, open kitchen, and living room with fireplace. Up to 30 participants. Meals are prepared communally in small groups (vegetarian; food cost settled on site). Alcohol and substances-free event. Price: €500 per person — includes accommodation and workshop participation. Deposit: €100 (reserves your place). Transport from Warsaw approx. 200 km / 3 hours; train option to nearby Policzna.
